A WORK IN PROGRESS . . . . . .
L-R First a stone is chosen. It is then
cut into slabs. The most pleasing areas
are cut from the slab and rough shaped and processed through grinding on
two
diamond wheels, then polished on four different abrasive wheels, with a final
polish with 50,000ths diamond paste. A general design idea is formulated, the
bezels are formed and soldered. Cups are soldered. The main piece is
assembled
and soldered. Stones are set and the piece is polished to a bright shine.
